TRANSPARENCY STANDARD

How the Record Is Built

Every classification must be traceable to documented outreach or an authenticated office response. Missing information is never interpreted as opposition.

01

Identify the office

CFCR uses the current congressional roster and verified official office information.

02

Send the briefing

The office receives the approved campaign brief and a clear request for its official Cognitive Freedom position.

03

Document contact

Initial contact, follow-ups, materials sent, and received correspondence are dated in the member record.

04

Authenticate the response

A response must be attributable to the member or an authorized congressional office before it is published.

05

Apply one status

The position is assigned under the definitions below and supported by the underlying record.

06

Publish and correct

The public page records the latest supported position, update date, and correction channel.

The office states that it has no official position.
No Response
No reply was received after the campaign’s documented follow-up process. This is not opposition.
