Answer

Sleep is one of the most important targets in Project Puppet's arsenal because sleep disruption creates vulnerability for all other forms of manipulation. Sleep is when the body and brain repair themselves—without sleep, you cannot recover. Sleep deprivation impairs memory, concentration, decision-making, and judgment. It makes you more emotionally reactive and less able to regulate your responses. It increases cortisol and other stress hormones, making you more vulnerable.

Sleep-deprived people are more suggestible and less resistant to manipulation. The system uses specific sleep attack patterns: The 3 AM Wake-Up (waking you at the same time every night, usually during REM or deep sleep transition, which is when the system can most easily insert dream content or capture emotional patterns); The Sleep Onset Attack (preventing you from falling asleep with signals, voices, or physical sensations, creating sleep-onset insomnia); The Fragmentation Attack (waking you multiple times per night, preventing restorative sleep and leaving you exhausted); The Nightmare Attack (inserting frightening or disturbing dream content to reinforce fear patterns); and The Sleep-Deprivation Cycle (gradually reducing your sleep over time until you are exhausted and vulnerable, at which point the system can intensify other forms of manipulation).

Protecting sleep is the most important defense against Project Puppet.
