Know what the public service collects

You can browse public resources without member access. Public pages use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site and identify pages that need improvement. Clarity may process interaction, device, and browser information under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. TARGETED.ARMY does not connect Clarity browsing data to a member record. Shared appearance choices—mode, accent, and text size—may be saved in validated first-party preferences so the site remains readable across TARGETED.ARMY applications.

Information you provide

• Messages you deliberately prepare through the Contact page. The page opens your own email application; Web does not submit or store the message.
• A non-secret relative destination when you continue from Web to secure member access on war.targeted.army.
• Information you later choose to provide inside an approved protected tool, under that application’s access and privacy controls.

Information used to deliver public pages

Standard request information may be processed transiently by hosting and security providers to deliver a page, reject abuse, and diagnose operational errors. The V2 public Web application has no direct database or object-storage binding. Browser requests for public records and files use same-origin Web routes; server-only services keep database, storage, and service credentials out of browser code.

Member access and private records

Public Web does not own member authentication. Secure access and private tools are hosted on war.targeted.army, which uses a host-only, HttpOnly session cookie. A public page may pass only an allowlisted relative destination to War. Member keys, passwords, session tokens, private story content, service credentials, and storage keys must never be placed in a public URL.

Optional processing features

The public shell does not send page content to an AI provider. If a protected tool offers optional transcription, organization, or generation, it must identify that processing within the protected workflow and keep the original member-controlled record separate from generated output.

Service providers and legal needs

Information may be processed by hosting, storage, security, and other providers needed to operate the specific feature you use. Information may also be preserved or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or defend the service and its rights.

Protect your access. Exercise your choices.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your member access credentials private. You can browse public resources without member access, clear appearance preferences, decline optional protected-tool processing, limit what you deliberately publish, and contact us about an account or privacy request.
